In April 2025, Greece's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 8.4%, down from a revised 8.9% the previous month. This is the lowest rate recorded since November 2008. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 26,900 from the prior month, reaching 391,300. Concurrently, employment figures increased by 28,100, resulting in a total of 4.31 million employed individuals in April. Furthermore, there was a reduction of 3,600 people in the category of individuals not participating in the labor force, bringing that total to 3.05 million.
