DXC Technology (DXC), a leading provider of technology services, announced on Friday a strategic collaboration with Ferrovial SE (FER), an infrastructure company, and Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) to co-develop the generative Artificial Intelligence platform, Quercus.
Howard Boville, DXC's Executive Vice President, remarked, "This partnership represents a significant milestone in the evolution of AI-enhanced business services."
Quercus is designed to assist organizations in integrating secure and responsible AI solutions across their operations, aiming to automate processes that enhance profitability and efficiency.
DXC plans to standardize Quercus and offer it as an innovative AI solution to its global clientele, customizing the platform to meet specific customer needs and thereby shortening the time required to develop tailored AI solutions.
The management, development, and commercialization of Quercus will be spearheaded by DXC, leveraging Microsoft's Azure and OpenAI technology foundations.
Ferrovial has already started deploying an early version of the Quercus platform to its clients.
