The benchmark BSE Sensex, comprising 30 leading shares, closed a steady session with a rise of 454.11 points, equivalent to a 0.59% increase, settling at 77,073.44. Meanwhile, the broader NSE Nifty index ended at 23,344.75, reflecting a gain of 141.55 points or 0.1% from its prior close.
Additionally, both the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index and the S&P BSE Small-Cap index saw increments of 0.7% and 0.8%, respectively.
