Russia’s Rosneft remained the world’s biggest listed oil company by output.
Rosneft's total average daily hydrocarbon production was at 5.71 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first quarter, close to levels in the fourth quarter last year.
Given the efforts to limit oil output under a deal led by OPEC and other oil producers, the company chooses measures to reduce production as flexibly as possible. It takes into account the economic efficiency of projects, compliance with all obligations and effective risk management.
