Kim said he and the US president decided not to return to the past. As for Trump, he said the North Korean leader was committed to denuclearizing the Korean peninsula and called him a talented and patriotic person. The leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea thanked the American president for the meeting and attention to the issues of his country.
Earlier, Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un signed a document, which has not yet been disclosed. According to the media, it contains the confirmation of the progress in the negotiations by the leaders of both countries and an agreement on relations’ improvement.
