The world's most popular cryptocurrency has increased in price by nine million percent against the US dollar over the past 10 years. Since its launch, Bitcoin’s price has rallied so rapidly that it has outperformed such “monsters” as gold and even some exchange indices in terms of return on investment. Remarkably, the first digital currency started its way from $0.08 per bitcoin. Currently, the exchange rate ranges from 7,300-7,800 US dollars. So, it is not surprising that investments in bitcoin turned out to be much more profitable than in other popular assets, including gold and the S&P 500 index. The BTC reached its peak of nearly $20,000 at the end of 2017, but later its price has significantly decreased.
