The Treasury Department disclosed the details of this month's auction for twenty-year bonds on Thursday. They plan to sell $16 billion worth of these bonds, with the auction results to be announced next Wednesday.
In comparison, last month the Treasury sold $13 billion worth of twenty-year bonds, which saw higher-than-average demand.
Next Thursday, the Treasury is scheduled to release the details for this month's auctions of two-year, five-year, and seven-year notes.
Additionally, the Treasury revealed that last week's auctions of three-year and ten-year notes, as well as thirty-year bonds, attracted average demand.
