Insteel Industries Inc. (IIIN) reported a decrease in net income for the third quarter, dropping to $6.57 million, or $0.34 per share, compared to $10.57 million, or $0.54 per share, in the same period last year.
The company's net sales for the quarter also saw a decline of 12.0%, totaling $145.78 million, down from $165.71 million in the prior-year quarter.
