Croatia experienced a rise in the unemployment rate for the second consecutive month in November, as reported by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on Friday. The unemployment rate climbed to 5.0 percent in November, up from 4.7 percent in October. A year earlier, the rate stood at 5.5 percent during the same month.
In November, the number of registered unemployed individuals reached 89,897, an increase from 86,269 in October. Additionally, the total number of people employed in November was 1.712 million, marking a monthly reduction of 1.1 percent.
However, assessing the period from January to November and comparing it to the previous year, there was an overall increase of 1.9 percent in employment figures, according to the agency.
