FX.co ★ Botswana Maintains Policy Rate for 4th Meeting

The Central Bank of Botswana decided to maintain its benchmark interest rate at 1.90% for the fourth straight meeting on April 17th, 2025. In March 2025, Botswana's inflation rate climbed to 2.8%, its third consecutive monthly rise and the highest level since last August. Nevertheless, it still falls below the central bank's medium-term target range of 3% to 6%.
