South Africa's trade surplus expanded to ZAR 24.8 billion in March 2025, marking the largest surplus in four months. This is an increase from the revised figure of ZAR 20 billion in the previous month. During this period, exports increased by 5.7% to reach ZAR 172.48 billion, while imports experienced a slower rise of 3.2%, totaling ZAR 147.71 billion.
