In May 2025, Estonia observed a 0.5% increase in producer prices compared to the previous year, a slowdown from the 1.4% rise recorded in April. This represents the most modest growth rate since January. Producer price inflation eased in sectors such as mining and quarrying, decreasing to 0.4% from April's 1.0%. Meanwhile, the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning sectors experienced deflation, shifting to -8.1% from a previous 5.5% increase. Conversely, price growth accelerated in the areas of water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities, climbing to 11.2% from 9.1%. Manufacturing saw no change, maintaining a growth of 1.1%. When viewed on a month-to-month basis, producer prices increased by 0.2% in May, compared to a 1.0% reduction in April.
