In June 2025, Luxembourg's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slightly declined to 5.9%, down from 6.0% in May, which was the highest figure since May 2021. The count of unemployed individuals decreased by 137, reaching 18,804, indicating marginally better conditions in the labor market. Employment numbers saw an increase of 601, bringing the total to 523,299. The active labor force among Luxembourg nationals rose by 127, totaling 317,723. Meanwhile, the number of resident employees leaving the system remained constant at 14,049, while incoming cross-border workers increased by 337, reaching 231,334.
