Belgium's gross domestic product experienced a 0.2% increase from the previous quarter for the three months ending in June 2025, a deceleration from the 0.4% growth observed in the preceding quarter, according to preliminary estimates. Despite this slowdown, it marks the seventh consecutive period of quarterly growth, sustaining over four years without any GDP contraction and highlighting the resilience of the Belgian economy. This growth was driven by expansions in the services and construction sectors, both increasing by 0.2%, which helped counterbalance a 0.1% contraction in the industrial sector. Year-over-year, the Belgian GDP saw a 1% increase.
