FX.co ★ Poland Corporate Wage Growth Slows to 7.1%

In August 2025, wages in Poland's corporate sector experienced a 7.1% year-on-year increase, reaching PLN 8,769.08. This growth represents a deceleration from the 7.6% increase observed in July and fell short of the anticipated 7.8% rise projected by market analysts. Notably, this is the slowest wage growth since February 2021. Month-on-month, the average gross salary declined by 1.5%. This decrease was primarily attributed to a reduction in supplemental payments such as awards and bonuses, including annual bonuses, service anniversary awards, and retirement severance pay. For the year-to-date, wages in the corporate sector have risen by 8.2%.
