In September 2025, Thailand's business confidence indicator experienced a slight improvement, rising to 48.0 from 47.5 in August. This uptick was primarily fueled by increased optimism regarding investment, which saw an increase to 52.7 from 51.3 the previous month. In addition, there was a reduction in pessimism toward production, with an improvement to 48.8 from 47.6, as well as for overall order books, increasing to 47.4 from 46.5, and export conditions, which rose to 47.0 from 45.8. Conversely, confidence in business performance declined slightly to 47.2 from 48.5, and sentiment regarding employment also softened, falling to 49.0 from 49.4. Looking forward, the business sentiment index with a three-month outlook rose to 52, marking a seven-month high, up from 51.1 in the previous month.
