In August 2025, residential property prices in Ireland experienced a 7.4% year-over-year increase, maintaining the rate observed in July and marking the smallest annual rise since March 2024. While the growth rate for house prices moderately slowed to 7.5% from 7.6% in July, the rate for apartment prices accelerated to 6.8% from 6.1%. Regionally, there was a deceleration in price growth within Dublin, slowing to 5.3% from 5.8%, while areas outside the capital saw an increase to 9.2% from 8.7%. On a month-to-month basis, residential property prices rose by 1.0% in August, following a downwardly revised increase of 0.7% in July.
