The sectors fueling this growth were primarily the manufacturing of transport equipment, which saw a significant rise of 36.5%, along with chemical products up by 5.8%, clothing by 5.5%, and food products by 4.7%. Additionally, notable contributions were seen in coffee threshing with a growth of 38.7% and sugar refining at 11.3%. Conversely, there were declines in certain sectors such as pharmaceuticals, which dropped by 7.6%, beverages by 2.1%, and iron and steel by 9.3%. In terms of broader economic impact, real sales saw a year-on-year increase of 0.9%, and industrial employment observed a growth of 0.8%.
