In September 2025, Estonia saw a 0.5% year-on-year increase in producer prices, recovering from the previous month's 1.6% decline. This uptick was largely fueled by a rebound in manufacturing costs, which rose by 0.6% compared to a slight decrease of 0.1% in August. Additionally, there was an accelerated rise in prices for mining and quarrying, increasing to 3.2% from 2.7%. Meanwhile, the contraction in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning sector lessened significantly, marking a decrease of 1.1% as opposed to the sharp 18.3% drop in the prior month. Conversely, price growth for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities decelerated, registering a 2.7% increase compared to 3.3% previously. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.5% in September, a moderation from the 1.6% rise recorded in August.
