In October 2025, Vietnam's industrial production experienced a year-on-year increase of 10.8%, down from a revised 12.7% growth observed in September, which was noted as the highest surge in seven months. Although there was a deceleration, this still represented the ninth consecutive month of growth in the sector. The growth in production eased across several industries, such as mining and quarrying, which grew by 3.1% compared to 16.8% in September; manufacturing, which saw an increase of 11.4% versus the previous 12.5%; and electricity generation and distribution, which expanded by 11.0% compared to 13.9%. On the other hand, activities related to water supply, waste management, and wastewater treatment saw a significant boost, increasing by 12.2% from 6.8%. On a month-to-month basis, industrial production ascended by 2.4%. Furthermore, during the initial nine months of 2025, industrial output grew by 9.2% relative to the same timeframe the year before.
