In September 2025, Belgium reported a 1.9% increase in industrial production compared to the same period the previous year, improving upon the revised 1.3% growth seen in August. The manufacturing sector drove this growth with a 3.5% increase, an improvement over August's 2.7% rise. Meanwhile, the decline in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply slightly lessened to -12.1% from -12.2%. In contrast, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a downturn, falling by 2.4% after a 3% increase previously. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, overall industrial production saw a 0.7% decrease, which is a slight recovery from the revised 1.4% decline observed in the month prior.
