Furthermore, the expectations index climbed 1.4 points to 50.4, reflecting a growing optimism for the coming six months. Expectations concerning Brazil's economy surged by 2.3 points to 43.3, with company expectations edging up by 0.7 points to 53.9. Despite these gains, the overall confidence index has stayed negative, remaining below 50 for eleven consecutive months, suggesting a persistent lack of confidence, though the level of pessimism appears to be lessening.
