The Azerbaijani economy witnessed a 1.3% year-on-year growth from January to October 2025, maintaining the same pace as observed in the first nine months leading to September. However, this growth rate reflects a slowdown compared to the 4.9% expansion recorded during the same timeframe in the previous year. The non-oil and gas sector experienced an increase of 3.1%, contrasting with a decline of 2.1% in the oil and gas sector. From a production standpoint, the significant contributors to GDP growth were industry, accounting for 34%, followed by trade and vehicle repair at 10.5%, transportation and warehousing at 7.1%, agriculture, forestry, and fishing at 6.7%, and construction at 6.5%.
