In the third quarter of 2025, Tunisia experienced a year-on-year GDP growth of 2.4%, a deceleration from the 3.2% growth recorded in the second quarter, which marked the strongest expansion since the third quarter of 2022. The moderation in growth rates was observed across several major sectors, including mining, which grew by 31.7% compared to 39.5% in Q2; construction, which saw growth slow to 3.9% from 9.0%; trade and repair services, which increased by 1.5% compared to 2.8%; and transport and storage, which registered a growth of 0.3%, down from 3.0%. On a quarterly basis, the GDP remained unchanged after a revised 1.9% increase in the second quarter, representing the fastest quarterly growth since the fourth quarter of 2021.
