Brazil's IBC-Br economic activity index experienced a slight decline of 0.2% in September 2025 compared to the previous month, following a 0.4% increase in August. During this period, the industrial sector contracted by 0.7%, services saw a marginal decrease of 0.1%, and tax revenues fell by 0.6%. On a positive note, the agriculture and livestock sector reported a robust growth of 1.5%. When excluding agriculture, the IBC-Br index registered a decline of 0.4%. On an annual basis, overall economic activity improved by 2%.
