On Wednesday, US stock futures experienced a recovery from earlier declines, with contracts for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 increasing by 0.4% and Dow Jones futures rising by almost 60 points. This upward movement comes after the significant selloff in prior sessions. Nvidia saw a 0.9% increase in premarket trading, as investors anticipate its earnings report post-market close, viewed as a critical indicator for major technology companies. Lowe’s surged over 5% upon surpassing earnings expectations, whereas Target decreased by 1% due to a quarterly sales drop and a downward revision of its full-year profit forecast. Today, TJX Companies, Palo Alto Networks, and Deere & Company are scheduled to release their financial reports as well. In addition, traders are looking forward to the latest trade balance figures and the release of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes. Currently, market odds suggest a roughly 49% probability of a 25 basis point rate cut next month.
