FX.co ★ Russian Producer Prices Rebound Sharply

In October 2025, Russia experienced a 0.7% increase in producer prices compared to the same month the previous year. This marks a recovery from the 0.4% deflation observed in September, largely due to diminishing base effects that led to the highest price rise since April. Manufacturing industries saw an increase in producer costs, rising to 2.3% from 1.3% in September. Wastewater management also experienced growth, with costs rising to 7.2% from 6.6%. Meanwhile, the decline in costs was less pronounced in the mining sector, at -11.4% compared to -13.9% previously. Conversely, inflation decelerated in sectors such as electricity, gas, and steam provision, with rates decreasing to 15.4% from 17.9%. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.9%.
