In October 2025, Macau saw a 10.8% year-on-year increase in tourist arrivals, totaling 3.47 million, following a 9.8% surge in the prior month. Same-day visitors increased by 17.6%, while those staying overnight went up by 1.7%. The average stay duration remained consistent with the previous year at 1.1 days, though overnight visitors stayed slightly longer, averaging 2.4 days—an increase of 0.1 day. Visitor numbers from Mainland China rose by 12% to 2.53 million, with the Individual Visit Scheme participants seeing a significant 22.6% boost. Meanwhile, tourists from Taiwan surged by 34.2% to 92,170, whereas arrivals from Hong Kong decreased slightly by 1.0% to 584,770. The number of international visitors also grew, climbing by 22.9% to 260,940. Cumulatively, from January to October, visitor arrivals increased by 14.1%, reaching a total of 33.14 million.
