Thailand's exports saw a 5.7% year-on-year increase in October 2025, representing the slowest growth pace since September 2024. This significant deceleration from the previous month's 19% rise fell short of market predictions of a 6.1% increase. The earlier surge, spurred by manufacturers rushing orders before potential tariff changes, diminished after the situation regarding U.S. tariffs became clearer. Currently, the U.S. imposes a 19% tariff on imports from Thailand, a reduction from the previously slated 36% rate.
