The Swiss investor sentiment index rose to 12.2 in November 2025, marking its highest level since January, an increase from the previous -7.7 in October. This uptick occurred even though the current conditions index dropped to -4.9 from 0.0 the previous month. According to UBS, which publishes the indicator in collaboration with the CFA Society Switzerland, "Analysts are increasingly optimistic about export momentum following a joint declaration of intent for a trade agreement between Switzerland and the US." The survey results indicate that the Swiss National Bank (SNB) is likely to maintain its current interest rates during its December monetary policy review.
