In November 2025, Sweden's Economic Tendency Indicator climbed to 101.7, maintaining its position above the historical average for the second consecutive month. This rise follows October's index of 100.9 and exceeds the anticipated figure of 101. The construction sector exhibited the most notable improvement, bolstered by enhanced employment plans, increased recent activity, and stronger future expectations. Sentiment in the service sector also rose, driven by heightened demand and a robust outlook. Similarly, manufacturing confidence saw a slight uptick as perceptions of order stocks became less negative and fewer companies reported excess inventory. On the other hand, trade sentiment dipped following a pronounced increase in October, primarily due to reduced expectations for short-term sales; however, firms remain more optimistic than usual regarding the six-month outlook. Consumer confidence, after six months of improvement, experienced a decline as households grew more pessimistic about their financial situations, albeit with a more favorable view of Sweden's overall economic condition.
