Croatia's industrial production experienced a notable increase of 5.5% in October 2025 compared to the same month in the previous year. This resurgence follows a slight decline of 0.1% in September. It represents the most robust growth since April, driven by an acceleration in manufacturing output, which rose from 3.2% in September to 5.5%. Key contributors to this growth include the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, as well as basic metals. Furthermore, while the decline in the mining and quarrying sector eased from -2.5% to -1.4%, there was a significant recovery in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector, which surged from a decline of -14.3% to an increase of 9.4%. On a month-to-month basis, industrial output grew by 3.1% in October, a substantial rise from 0.5% the previous month, marking the highest level since December 2024.
