In October 2025, Hungary's trade surplus decreased to EUR 713 million, down from EUR 891 million in October of the previous year, due to a decline in exports and a rise in imports. Comparing year-on-year figures, exports dropped by 0.9% to EUR 12,844 million, while imports increased by 0.6% to EUR 12,131 million. Analyzing the January to October period, Hungary's trade surplus expanded to EUR 8,525 million, compared to EUR 7,970 million during the same timeframe last year.
