FX.co ★ Namibia Inflation Rate Slows to 3.4% in November

In November 2025, Namibia's annual inflation rate decreased to 3.4%, down from a four-month peak of 3.6% recorded the previous month. This decline was attributed to the slowing of price increases across several Consumer Price Index (CPI) categories. Notably, the food and non-alcoholic beverages category saw a slower price rise, with bread and cereals increasing only by 0.5% compared to 2.9% in October, and vegetables by 2.8% compared to 5.7%. Other categories that experienced eased inflation included alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.9% down from 4.6%), hotels, cafes, and restaurants (4.8% down from 5%), and recreation and culture (3.8% down from 4%). On the other hand, the inflation rates for education and housing and utilities remained unchanged at 4.3% and 4.1%, respectively. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices showed no change in November, following a 0.5% rise in the previous month.
