In November 2025, Taiwan's foreign exchange reserves decreased to USD 599.79 billion, a slight decline from October's figure of USD 600.2 billion. This reduction was attributed to returns from managing foreign exchange reserves, fluctuations in exchange rates of major currencies against the USD, and interventions by the central bank to ensure a stable foreign exchange market. By way of comparison, the reserves were at USD 577.9 billion in November 2024.
