Belgium's industrial production experienced a modest increase of 0.2% year-on-year by October 2025, a deceleration from the revised 2.2% growth observed in the previous month. This figure represents the slowest industrial activity since May. Notably, the manufacturing sector demonstrated a reduced growth rate, with output rising by 2.2%, down from 3.8% in September. Simultaneously, there was a continued decline in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, with a decrease of 17.7% compared to the previous month's decline of 12.0%. Conversely, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a recovery, increasing by 1.5% following a 1.6% decrease in the prior period. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, overall industrial production dropped by 3.5% in October, marking its lowest level in five months, after a revised decrease of 0.4% in the preceding month.
