In November 2025, Indonesia experienced a 9.79% year-on-year increase in foreign tourist arrivals, reaching a total of 1.20 million visitors. This growth represents a deceleration from the previous month's increase of 11.19%. The Indonesian government is targeting an influx of 14 to 16 million foreign tourists for the entire year. This follows a notable 19.1% surge in 2024, which brought the total number of arrivals to 13.9 million, surpassing expectations and signaling the most robust recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic.
