The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 9,000, totaling 318,800, while the employment figures also saw a reduction of 21,500, settling at 5.285 million. The labor force participation rate witnessed a slight increase to 69.7% from 69.6%, and the employment rate rose to 65.8% from 65.6%. Concurrently, the labor underutilization rate decreased to 9.8% from 10% in the previous month. Comparatively, a year before, the unemployment rate was higher, recorded at 6.6%.
