In November 2025, Finland's industrial production witnessed a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, showing a slowdown from the previously slightly revised upward growth of 2.2% recorded in October. The mining and quarrying sector experienced a significant decline, dropping by 5.1%, a reversal from the 1.5% growth seen in the previous month, marking its first decrease in five months. Similarly, growth in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector decelerated to 0.8% from the previous 3.2%. The manufacturing sector also saw a reduction in growth rate to 2% from 2.2%, with notable declines in the production of beverages (-7.1% compared to 3.2% previously), printing and reproduction of recorded media (-8.8% compared to -1.7%), and furniture (-2.9% compared to 1.4%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output increased by 0.5% in November, marking the most modest gain since April, following a downwardly revised 2.3% growth in the previous month.
