Meanwhile, Dow Jones futures remained relatively stable. Investors were buoyed by ongoing optimism regarding the technology and artificial intelligence sectors, following robust quarterly results and guidance from TSMC. In premarket trading, most major technology stocks showed gains: Nvidia rose by 0.8%, Amazon by 0.4%, Meta by 0.2%, Broadcom saw a 1.1% increase, and Tesla advanced by 0.6%. However, Alphabet experienced a decline of 0.6%. Micron Technology surged over 5%, while Microsoft experienced minimal change, and Apple saw a slight dip of 0.3%. On the earnings side, PNC Financial Services shares climbed 3.5% in premarket after surpassing market expectations in both earnings and revenue. Despite these early gains, all three of the major US indices are projected to close the week with losses: the S&P 500 is down 0.3%, the Nasdaq has decreased by 0.6%, and the Dow Jones has declined by 0.1%.
