FX.co ★ Eurozone Core Inflation Rate Confirmed at 2.3%

The Euro Area's annual core inflation rate, which excludes food, energy, and tobacco prices, reached a four-month low of 2.3% in December 2025. This figure aligns with the preliminary estimate and shows a slight decrease from November's rate of 2.4%. Month-over-month, the core consumer price index increased by 0.3% in December, consistent with earlier projections, following a 0.5% decline in November. Across the broader European Union, core inflation also dipped to a four-month low of 2.5%, down from 2.6% in November.
