FX.co ★ Indonesia Loan Growth Hits 10-Month High

Indonesia experienced a notable increase in annual loan growth, reaching 9.69% year-on-year in December 2025, compared to 7.74% in November. This represented the most rapid growth since February, as the government continued to implement measures aimed at enhancing domestic demand. Despite this increase, the volume of undisbursed loan facilities remained substantial, at IDR 2,439.2 trillion in December 2025, which accounted for 22.2% of the total approved credit capacity. Looking forward, Bank Indonesia anticipates that credit growth for the entirety of 2026 will fall within its target range of 8–12%.
