FX.co ★ Slovakia Q4 GDP Growth Beats Forecasts

Slovakia’s economy grew by 1% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 0.9% in the previous quarter and above market expectations of 0.8%, according to preliminary estimates. This was the strongest annual expansion since the third quarter of 2024, driven mainly by robust investment activity, particularly in the general government sector, as well as a positive contribution from net foreign trade. On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, GDP increased by 0.2%, easing from a 0.3% rise in the third quarter.
