FX.co ★ Cyprus Economy Grows at Fastest Pace in 3 Years

The Cypriot economy grew by 4.5% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 3.6% in the third quarter, according to flash estimates. This marked the fastest pace of expansion since the fourth quarter of 2022, driven by robust activity in wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle repair, information and communication, and the hotels and restaurants sector. On a quarterly basis, GDP increased by 1.4% in the fourth quarter, the strongest gain since the first quarter of 2024, after a 0.9% rise in the previous quarter.
