Producer prices in Sweden fell by 1.7% year-on-year in February 2026, following a 2.0% decline in January. The downturn eased across several categories: capital goods (-2.7% vs -3.5% in January), intermediate goods (-2.7% vs -3.1%), and consumer goods (-3.6% vs -4.5%).
Within consumer goods, prices of non-durable items continued to fall but at a slower pace (-4.2% vs -5.4%), while the rate of price growth for durable goods also moderated (0.8% vs 1.4%). Energy prices rose more slowly as well, with energy inflation decelerating to 3.5% from 5.8%.
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.2% in February, down from a 2.4% rise in the previous month.
