Producer prices in Croatia rose by 3.2% year-on-year in March 2026, up from 0.9% in February, marking the highest increase since April 2023. The acceleration was largely driven by a rebound in manufacturing, where prices increased by 3.9% following a 0.3% decline in the previous month. This was supported by a sharp recovery in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (up 37.5% vs a fall of 11.5% in February), as well as further increases in prices for machinery and equipment (2.8% vs 2.3%) and other transport equipment (4.9% vs 4.7%).
At the same time, the decline in prices for mining and quarrying eased, with the annual rate improving to -15.0% from -22.1%. This moderation was partly due to a smaller contraction in the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas (-33.9% vs -44.1%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 1.9% in March, slowing from a 2.3% increase in February.
