Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) recorded a sharp month-on-month acceleration in April 2026, rising 11.00% compared with the previous month, according to data updated on 18 May 2026. The uptick marks a notable strengthening in momentum after a 3.00% month-on-month increase in March 2026.
On a month-over-month basis, the April figure reflects a significantly faster pace of expansion than in March, when exports had already begun to edge higher versus the prior month. The comparison underscores a continued recovery in Singapore’s export performance, with April’s gain building on the positive, but more modest, improvement seen in March.
The data suggest that, relative to earlier in the year, Singapore’s non-oil export sector entered the second quarter on stronger footing, as the April reading considerably outpaced the previous month’s growth rate on the same month-over-month basis.
