The advance was driven by a rebound in housing costs (up 0.53% after a 0.15% decline) and stronger increases in food (1.14% vs. 0.81%) and personal expenses (0.31% vs. 0.09%). In contrast, transportation prices fell (-0.65% vs. a 0.85% increase previously), while prices in health (0.05% vs. 1.1%) and education (-0.03% vs. 0.01%) were broadly stable.
