The figures, updated on 11 June 2026, reflect the comparison of June’s index to May, while the May value itself represented a comparison with April.
Although the index remains below the 50-point threshold that typically separates pessimism from optimism, the uptick suggests a cautious improvement in Belgian households’ views on economic conditions and personal finances as mid-2026 progresses.
