Argentina’s consumer confidence index climbed 6.41% month-over-month in June 2026, reaching 42.71 points. All sub-indexes advanced, led by Durable Goods and Real Estate, which increased 7.80%, closely followed by Personal Situation with a 7.79% rise. The Macroeconomic Situation index also improved, up 4.37%.
Both Present Conditions and Future Expectations strengthened. Present Conditions showed the sharper gain, rising 8.77%, while Future Expectations increased 4.85%.
By region, consumer confidence rose across all areas. The largest increase was recorded in Greater Buenos Aires (10.01%), followed by Buenos Aires (4.78%) and the Interior (2.06%). The Interior maintained the highest confidence level at 46.33 points, while Greater Buenos Aires remained the weakest, at 40.70 points.
By income level, confidence improved in both segments. Among lower-income households, the index rose 7.16%, while higher-income households saw a 5.34% increase. Higher-income households continued to report a higher confidence level, at 44.09 points, compared with 40.66 points for lower-income households.
